Welcome to the Maison d’Ourscamp!
Our volunteers at Paris Historique will be pleased to welcome you to the Maison d’Ourscamp, where they will tell you more about our activities, show you our bookshop (with some English editions available!), and introduce you to the Parisian heritage we are passionate about preserving.
You’ll also learn about our guided tours (in French) and the other activites of our association.
Did you know our building houses a 13th century cellar that is currently being restored, the only one of its kind in Paris open to the public? This cellar is what is left of a medieval town house belonging to a cistercian abbaye north of Paris. The name « Ourscamp » means the field of the bear and it’s a legend from the 7th century which you will be told if you visit us.
With the help of our passionate volunteers, you can step back in time and explore the atmosphere of medieval Paris!

Monday to saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed on Sundays
We will be closed the 14th, 20th, 25th and 27th of July, the 3rd of august and from the 10th to the 24 th of August.
